I want to steal your soul

I have been out of the loop for a while in terms of this whole music thing.  I know that Man Man and Islands (two bands listed under my favorites on myspace) have both released new stuff, but I have yet to download and extensively listen to them.  As if that weren’t bad enough, I’m not even going back and listening to old classic stuff.  I have found myself trapped in a best of ‘07 quandary as of late and I think it is time to enact a plan I had a while ago.

Does anyone want to have music piracy parties with me?  Basically I would trudge over, hard drive and 6 pack of your favorite beer underarm, and raid your music collection for shit I want/need/should have been listening to ages ago.  We could drink beer and talk music while I download your hipster essence one file at a time.

No rush on the timing or anything.  I just know I mentioned this before, and since I seem to be in need of “new” music, I think now is a good time to bring it up again.  Of course I would have all my music as well, so you could steal anything you wanted from me in return (I have an extensive Bright Eyes catalog!).

Let me know if you are down with this or if you think that perhaps your music and time are more worthy of a twelve pack.
