A future Drinkingsoundtrack event perhaps
Lauren and I traveled to Detroit this past weekend to visit G-ma and attend the Metrotimes Blowout. It really takes place in Hamtramck and is a rollicking good time.
Basically this is a town where there are dive bars on every corner, and on this particular weekend (Thurs-Sat) they are booked from around 10pm-2am with local Michigan bands. So when all is said and done it is a Detroit version of SXSW…meaning a lot more ghetto.
Check out this year’s debauchery and maybe we can get a few others to travel up with us next year.
