I haven't been on DS for awhile, so I've not read any of this until right now. Depending on the dates, I'd be up for a trip somewhere. I'm trying to work out a spring training trip right now for mid-March, and I might be going back to Iceland for a long weekend in early April. Plus, there may or may not be a separate trip to CO for skiing with some other friends. Right now all of that is up in the air, so I'd be open to trying to juggle yet another trip with you lovely kids.

That weekend works for me but JJ and Dana have both mentioned that they might not be able to go if they can't afford it or if Dana starts a new job. I know Toms in, Lauren and Matt what are you thinking? I checked out flights to Portland and I found a roundtrip on Southwest for $250 bucks. If we don't decide this shit soon I'm ditching your asses and going skiing in Idaho with Gambino instead.....I'd likely kill Melissa so I'd REALLY rather vacation with you kids!

I vote for the Daniel Martel Fundraising Drive the weekend of February 23-24, panhandling on the streets of Portland Oregon so Daniel Martel can get the cash to come with us next vacation.

It appears Dan is out. Do people still want to do this without Dan?

Just need to know vacation-wise if I need to start getting days off or not. What is everyone thinking?

hey dan, don't mortgage your future by bankrolling this trip. instead, mortgage your future by bankrolling ALL of our trips.

as it turns out, i've got a ton of miles, so flight cost is no object for me.

I was referring to prices besides the flight - lift ticket, snowboard rental, car rental, hotel room in Portland???

I'm working on getting some more federal loan money. If I don't I get that, I doubt I can do this trip.

Pretty much any weekend in February. But like I said, if you guys all still want to go in March thats totally cool. I'll just continually post a shit ton to the vacation thread during the trip and pretend like I'm there!

Dan, you're not making this any clearer. I'll start looking at plane-flight costs for Chicago<-->PDX and see if that can clear it up at all. Leah, if you beat Dan in Drinking Soundtrack Battle Royale MMVIII, what weekend would ya' pick?
