I must say I did not lose my spank, quite the opposite!

I think the monthly Flosstradamous shows that always overflow onto the stage and become dance orgies are setting the tone for all SubT shows. It took about 30 seconds before the front third of the crowd was leaning on unused equiptment and patting Matt on the back. This cleared up the floor for moshing and crowd surfing (the former of which I sort of participated in).

It was all ages in the best possible sense. There were small annoyances such as one drink per person with wristband (and signs everywhere saying a wristband alone was not proof of age; have your ids ready) and security shining flashlights everywhere and throwing kids out left and right. But I think there was also a playful element to it all and the kids aren’t worried about making asses of themselves, and that rubs off on us oldies (I mean, Leah was BEGGING me to move to the front).

Summary: FUN FUN FUN, fun fun fun fun. It was short, sweet and salty (from and the sweat).

I am totally going to try to go but after last weekend’s booze fest there is a slight chance that I may bail. Especially considering that this weekend is shaping up to be another endless drinking ordeal…..I don’t know if my liver will like me very much if I start boozefest on Thursday.
