Year-end Best-Of’s

Hey y’all, happy Christmas and stuff. I got some spiffy new stuff, what about you? I’m writing ‘cuz it’s near the end of the year, and that means top end-of-the-year album lists (like the ones Dan and Tom posted that I’m too lazy to link to).

Last year I built a mini web application to publish a few of these lists. It worked fine, and was lost when a web host crashed and burned its server tower. I’m going to re-build it in the next two weeks, and I’ve got y’all in mind, so each of you, yes, all of you, should email me about 10 picks, in order, for your top albums of the year.

To make this interesting, would you include the following information for each album:

Album Title:
Release Month:
Label:

And if you’re really into it,

Artist City:
Artist State:
Artist Country:
Have You Seen Them Live?

This extra information will make the database this information’s in more useful, and able to spit out geeky stats like how many of our collective top-three albums come from the Midwest and were released in October.
