Update on lodging (try two)

Okay, I just talked with the people. King’s Crossing is in the town of Winter Park, which means it’s walking distance from the bars. Winter Walk is a two-mile shuttle ride from the bars. May Chalet is more expensive and further away from everything, I say we nix that.

It works out to $626.92 for both King’s and Walk, both places are available. ~~I say we go King’s.~~ I think the place JJ found looks best (it also appears to be closer to Winter Park), and they won’t charge us the $80 that the other place charges for doing two nights instead of three. I don’t have access to plastic until tomorrow, so that would be the earliest we would book it (through me, at least). There’s some places JJ’s scouting too … more on that soon … Thoughts? Threats?

It's long, but there's not much wasted movement or repetition. It's exactly what a rock record should be, and will probably be my #1 at the end of the year.

It will be less crowded on the slopes on weekdays, but that’s about it… there will be more people-watching on weekends … there will also be less traffic if we drive up there Sunday. I’m cool with doing Saturday night…. then we’ve got Monday-eve in Denver, which isn’t quite as exciting as Saturday-night in Denver … I tried calling King’s Crossing place, but their reservations line shut down at 5pm (I had thought it was 6)…

Works out to $871.20 — the price goes up $130/night starting on the 16th, which is why it might seem higher.
