Colorado: Lodging details
So I found a bunch of places that would work for us — I don’t know how many of these are available, but it’s a start. The ones listed here look like they would work best (prices don’t include tax):
- Winter Walk: 2 bedrooms, sleeps 10, private hot tub, deck, walking distance to slopes. $242 / night.
- May Chalet Private Home: 4 bedrooms, sleeps 10, private outdoor hot tub, deck, on the shuttle route (5 miles to the slopes). $288 / night.
- Vasquez Run Building C Unit 202: 2 bedrooms + loft, sleeps 10, private indoor hot tub, deck, on shuttle route. $245 / night, but would have to pay a little extra for 2-night stay.
- Sawmill Station: 3 bedrooms, sleeps 9, private outdoor hot tub, deck, on shuttle route. $290 / night (extra for 2-night stay).
- Kings Crossing: 3 bedrooms, sleeps 8, private indoors hot tub, near downtown Winter Park, on shuttle route, $226 / night.
- Telemark (added Sunday): 4 bedrooms, on shuttle route, big-ass flat-screen tv, gas grill, $505 / night. I put this in ‘cuz the lady was nice on the phone.
If you want to see all the places I’ve scouted so far, there’s a full list and some basic category information here.
There are a couple more places I haven’t called. If you see a place on this list you’re sure won’t work, post it here … and if there’s something on that list you think we ought to consider that we haven’t (all the ones linked to on this post have five stars), post it here too.
