You gotta see Langhorne Slim

He plays September 30 at the Empty Bottle. He played tonight in Winston, this was his only headlining show of his tour, and it was awesome. Guy’s got charisma, modesty and good songs, and some sweet subtle dance moves. His band is a three-piece with a stand-up bass, drums and him on acoustic guitar.

I put his album as number 13 on my favorite albums of 2005, a decision I had reconsidered but not anymore. I mean, all his songs are about love and stuff, but he still pulls some distinct phrases and his brand of Americana-shuffle is easy to get along with.

Also, in site-related news, I got the categories list displaying better down there. Woot.
