New! Drinking Soundtrack link list
In the middle column of the footer you’ll see a link-list for Drinking Soundtrack. This is a place to add links that aren’t quite worthy of entire blog posts, and a good place to add links that you put in your blog posts too. Basically, it’s another way to organize the information that matters to this blog.
This is how you add to it: First, you need a del.icio.us account. It’s free, and it’s real low maintenance. You can sign up for delicious here. Once you do that you can post links to delicious. This page helps you set up shortcut buttons that makes posting links a breeze. After that, when you’re on a page that you want to add to the link list, click the shortcut button, and type in “drinkingsoundtrack” as one of the tags.
The link list on our site pulls in everything that people tag drinkingsoundtrack (including people we don’t know, which would be interesting if that ever happens).

p.s. As far as “signing up for another web thing” goes, I was kind of skeptical when I first signed up for delicious too. I didn’t use it much at first. As time went on I started using it more often. I found it useful for keeping track of the weird and useful stuff I found on the web. I also started using it to keep track of things I wanted to buy and wanted to read, but didn’t have the funds / time to do that right now.
Here are the tags on my delicious account that I enjoy and use the most: bacon, I use commented to keep track of the blogs I comment on, this is my awesome list, my list of links if you’re bored at work, robot links, programs you can download that are safe-for-work, stuff I want to buy, stuff I want to listen to, and stuff I want to read.
Sorry for going nutso on the blog post, I just wanted to share somethin’ useful and easy-to-use with y’all …
