I heard these guys when I was listening to streaming KEXP at work. They sounded interesting so I wrote down the name and downloaded them this weekend. Maybe it is just the hole in my heart that needs to be filled by the official dispersal of Death from Above, but there is something fun about this band that makes me want to get drunk and dance like an idiot. That being said, with each subsequent listen I feel like this might be a flash in the pan band that I get really into for a month and then never listen to again. However, I am pretty obsessed with “Piano Man” and “Sad Sad City” right now. Also, they are going to be at the Abbey on my birthday so I figured I would check them out and then I can start hating them if their live show sucks…
